Community Involvement
BCA works on a regional level within the membership to raise money and host events to benefit non profit organizations that participate or are related to the regional BCA group.
-
Members donated catering, live band, silent and live auction prizes, decorations, and most of all - their time and effort to raise money for their fellow member.
-
BCA San Diego held a Texas Hold-Em Poker Tournament to raise money for the NFL alumni association. The tournament was held at Golden Acorn Casino, a BCA member, in order to assist another member - the NFL Alumni Association.
-
Raleigh NC hosts a golf tournament each year and the proceeds of the raffle go to the MeFine Foundation which assists families whose children are at Duke or UNC Children's Hospital being treated for cancer.
-
BCA Phoenix brought the Boys and Girls Club of Metro Phoenix on board as a Member free of charge, and raised money for the organization through their first annual golf Tournament last year.
-
In San Diego the BCA group came together with volunteers, donations, and even member's children helping to raise over $70,000 for Sharp Rehabilitave Health Services of SD. BCA founded the first annual WheelChair Tennis Tournament with Dick Enberg as commentator. The Guiness Book of World Records recognized this BCA event as having the most disabled tennis players in one venue ever. Click Here to view a video of the event.
