- Details:
The two most important skills, both personally and professionally, are active listening and assertive speaking. Unfortunately, most of us have had little to no education in either skill set. This roundtable, The Art of Telling, is professional speaking education for business people for everyday use. During this workshop, you will learn:
- Traits of effective and ineffective speakers
- The three satisfactions that all presenters want from their listeners
- The five satisfactions that all listeners want from their presenters
- What defines your image
- Your "tool box"
- How to be heard - thinking of communication in terms of an outcome
Since we are required on a daily basis to share information, explanations, changes, ideas, directions and viewpoints to others in our lives, this is a not-to-be-missed Roundtable. Effective communication is the key to business success. What an amazing and dramatic difference the ability to communicate and to present makes in our lives. Most of us will not pay the price to learn these skills. For those who do, the reward is enormous!
Sign up today as seating is limited!
Cost is $10 per person (includes Continental Breakfast) payable at the door by cash or check payable to Gary Tomlinson.
