To welcome Jenn Snyder and support Communities in Schools of North Carolina, our March Speaker Reception will be held at a Communities in Schools of Wake County location. This unique event will give you an opportunity to experience how CIS is making a difference in shaping the future.

Communities in Schools of Wake County offers students a safe and motivational environment in school and in after-school settings to engage in learning, find their individual passion for knowledge, and realize that their education has the power to change and improve their lives. These children are motivated but economically at-risk students who face daily challenges of drugs, gangs, and other constant threats associated with poverty. Join us at this event as volunteers and children share with us how connecting these students with community resources will enable them to be successful in school and in life.
