What a great breakfast event BCA had in November the quality connections were abundant and what an inspirational treat the guest speaker Bill Curry was. Later that afternoon we had almost everyone of our guests e-mail or phone to thank us for inviting them to such a great business event and introducing them to quality connections. I, as well as all our guests, were excited about the opportunity to hear Bill speak, then being able to personally meet, have a photo taken with him and get him to sign his recently released book “Ten Men You Meet In The Huddle” which we gave to each guest at our table.

While everyone was enjoying breakfast, Coach Curry, took the time prior to speaking to visit our table and talk to a couple of our guests one-on-one. He also acknowledged one of his former players Mike Snow, who punted for Georgia Tech while Bill was the coach. Mike, also one of our guests, is a close friend of mine and all he could talk about was how great it felt to reconnect with his old coach and how much he had anticipated and enjoyed the whole event, but mostly about what a positive influence Coach Curry has been in his life, even to this day.

Just one of the many important things that I took from listening to Bill was his comment about “the pain of discipline or the pain of regret” and which one had greater consequences. I only pray that I have the courage to accept the pain of discipline so I can always avoid the pain of regret.

Tracy, this event along with the reception the night before was by far one of the more powerful events we have attended. The message received, the connections and introductions made and the professionalism and quality of BCA Atlanta and its members only presents Docqmax Digital Printing and the Famous McKenzie Brothers as the printing leader to be associated with in the Atlanta Market. With events like these, pretty soon my prospects, clients and friends are going to be begging me for invites to the BCA Breakfast Event.
